It’s not a GoPro, but a SJCAM SJ4000 (or a NoPro) which is the next best thing. In fact because of the great price point – at around £60, I would be inclined to call it an ‘even better thing’ than the GoPro itself.
I am sure that many people would say that the image quality is not as good as with the GoPro, and probably they are right. The results from this little video camera are though, quite honestly amazing.
In addition to two additional batteries and some new MicroSD cards which are fast enough and big enough to record HD video, we bought a compendium pack containing a selfie-sick, a water float, a chest strap, a head strap, the great flexible tripod which is in the picture as well as a whole collection of plastic mounts and brackets. Another good thing here is that the NoPro uses a fully compatible system for accessories as the real thing (although just one accessory from GoPro does costs about the same as out entire 60 piece compendium pack, albeit at a better quality).
Really looking forward to taking this snorkeling soon.
